"Swimmers should learn to swim the correct way the first time!"

We're a licensed and insured American Swim Coaches Association “SwimAmerica” program and registered USA Swimming Club providing the finest swimming programs available in the area since 1989. We utilize the latest teaching techniques and coaching methods available. The AK/SA framework of progressions teaching points, and advancement goals is utilized for skill development. Positive reinforcement is the main motivation source used. Swimming is the most important skill a child can learn; no other lesson or sport can save a child’s life! All our coaches are experienced, certified, plus have First Aid and CPR certifications. We have programs from a child’s first water experience to those in pursuit of excellence in competitive swimming. Our staff of professional educators and certified coaches believe every child can learn to swim and achieve his/her goals! We teach and develop swimmers! Once initial water safety skills have been learned, we teach proper and efficient stroke techniques then training and racing skills. We offer:

Classes

Individual (Private) Lessons:

Ages 18 months and older; Five - 30 minute lessons held Monday thru Friday in one week sessions. The cost is $175.

Parent-Tot Group Lessons:

Ten - 30 minute lessons held Monday thru Friday in 2 week sessions. We guarantee 8 of the 10; allowing for 2 weather or holiday cancellation days. Parent-Tot Group Lessons have a maximum of 6 and minimum of 4 Parent-Tots per coach. All registrations for Parent-Tot group lessons are held until we reach the minimum of 4!! The cost is $125.

Individual Lessons & Continuing Education (CE) Lessons are available year-round!

Times

(Lessons begin promptly every half hour)

Individual Lessons have available starting times every 30 minutes: 9:00-11:30 AM & 3:00-7:00 PM!

Parent-Tot Group Lessons have available starting times every 30 minutes: 10:00-11:30 AM, 3:00-4:00 & 6:30 PM!

Additional Lessons times may also be available!

Lessons anytime during the year!

We offer individual lessons only for the initial Learn-to-Swim lessons on a year 'round basis. Daily group lessons are only offered during the spring and summer seasons. Continuing education group lessons are also offered all year long! Please call or come by the pool for more information on individual lessons out side of our normal lesson session dates (listed below)!

Enrollment Procedures and Terms

REGISTRATION: Advance registration on a first come basis. To register, complete, read "Enrollment procedures and terms", and sign the accompanying registration form. Bring with full payment to WCS pool on Tuesdays 5:30-6:30 pm OR mail registration form with full payment to:

We arrange classes as the registration forms and payments arrive at our office. No checks will be deposited until the lesson is confirmed. For Individual Lesson requests, please place the Monday date and for Group Lesson session requests, please put the session code on the enrollment agreement request form. Group class requests are held until the minimum of 3 is reached. All individual and group classes will be confirmed approximately 2 weeks prior to the start date by mail or phone.

CONFIRMATION: Will be made by return mail or phone approximately 2 weeks prior to the lesson start date. Requests for group lessons will be held until we have the minimum of 3. No fees are charged or deposited until confirmation.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: NO refund will be given for canceling a confirmed lesson on the day of or after your scheduled class begins. If a confirmed enrollment is cancelled prior to the start day, it must be rescheduled by Session #8 and a 20% charge will be applied. A refund, less a 40% administrative charge, will be given for a complete cancellation prior to the start day. We reserve the right to cancel any session in which case, a full refund is given.

CLASS START TIMES & MAKE-UPS: All classes begin promptly at the confirmed start time. No make-up time is available for late arrivals or early departures. Lessons are only cancelled by the AquaKids staff for a weather condition or holiday. We will provide make-up classes for these lessons only (if the minimum number of classes is not met).

RETURNED CHECKS: $35.00 service fee for checks returned for any reason.
